Benedicta (Bene) Raia is an auctioneer and appraiser based in Massachusetts. From an early age Bene was interested in history, especially American history. After graduating from university with degrees in Architecture and Building Science, Bene returned to school and earned an MBA from Boston University. After graduation Bene opened Raia Auctioneers, Inc., a full service auction house and is the lead auctioneer. Bene is also a frequent contributor to Country Living‘s popular What Is It Worth section and has also appeared on Antiques Roadshow.
